JASON LAGORE

Ohio Department of Natural Resources Officer Jason Lagore died after suffering a medical emergency in Highland county. Officer Lagore was assisting in the search and rescue of two teens who fell through ice of a body of water.

A 13 year old boy was treated at a nearby hospital, while a 16 year old girl became trapped under the ice and was pronounced at the scene.

Officer Lagore was transported to a nearby hospital where he later died.

Lagore was a 15 year veteran of the division and was responsible for the K-9 unit.
